European Voluntary Service

Estonian Fund for Nature is hosting European Voluntary Service (EVS) volunteers from 2010. Until 2013 all the projects were funded by Youth in Action programme. Since 2014 EVS is funded by European Commission Erasmus+ programme.

In the summer we had our first EVS project “Co-Leader Estonian Conservation Camps”. From July until the end of September Ian Maclean from Scotland was our conservation holiday leader and contributed to organizing international conservation holidays. Ian was sent to Estonia by our partner organization in UK - British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV)

We hosted Kareem Jones from UK for three months during the summer. Kareem helped to organize conservation holidays. The project was called “Co-Leader Estonian Conservation Camps”, and our partner was BTCV.
